Sock Competitions 6 and 7...
I'm late posting, but there are some real winners in this bunch!
Now I'm inspired to do a photo-shoot that is based around crazy socks! Summer project?

Frames
Here are some of my favorite photos from my "frame project", from which I created a book. I LOVED these shoots... if anyone is interested in doing more, just let me know!
Sock competition 4!
And it continues...
Jodie declared John the winner with the counting sheep socks, but I still think this one was a 3-way tie. ;)

Intimate Form
This is part 1 of my dance minor project. It is based on improvisation, and that is all I will share. :)
Part 2 will be redone with costumes and more specific set design. Please comment with your response to the video and what you think it's about, as well as any suggestions you may have for part 2. Thanks for the input!
And thank you so much to all of my dancers!

Sock competition pt2
This weeks sock competition in the photo lab... John, Laine, Annie, and I...
Annie was the winner this week with her mushroom socks, but I think that my space invaders were a very close second. ;)

Sock competition!
Alright, so I'm just super excited about this so I decided to post this weekly event on my blog. A few of us in the photo department at Poly have initiated a sock competition! Basically, every Thursday we wear our most awesome socks and choose a winner of who brings the greatest amount of awesomeness to the table. Here were the contestants for this week:
...and the winner is..... Laine of course. How could we compete? They are eating her feet!!! :)

Frame Project
So I've decided to finally start actually writing a blog... mainly to keep myself motivated to continue new projects. :)
My latest project is to collect images of groups of people in the environment which connects them, using frames to create a storyline. I've completed two shoots so far: my roommates and Ashley's roommates. I've found it quite interesting how the frame works in each image. It provides a way for each person to be the most expressive that they can in that given moment. And the size and perspective of each image adds character to the photograph that cannot be captured otherwise.
I've included some images from the shoot I did with my roommates. Can't wait to hang them in the house!
I am hoping to complete at least 3 more shoots in the next couple weeks, before I put them all together in a single handmade book. If you are interested in doing one of these shoots with your roommates/family/friends/etc., please let me know! :-)
